Recenzja Turtle Beach Command Series KB7. Klawiatura z ekranem i niewykorzystanym potencjałem

Portfolio Turtle Beach przez długi czas opierało się przede wszystkim na słuchawkach. Klawiatury i myszy stały się jej częścią dopiero po przejęciu marki ROCCAT w 2019 roku, którą zresztą wygaszono. Command Series KB7 to pierwsza klawiatura z najwyższej półki wydana już tylko pod szyldem Turtle Beach, choć dziedzictwo serii Vulcan widać w niej już na pierwszy rzut oka. Mamy tutaj aluminiową płytę, odsłonięte przełączniki i niemal identyczną podpórkę pod nadgarstki.

Nie jest to zwyczajna klawiatura. W miejscu bloku nad strzałkami zastosowano bowiem dotykowy ekran o przekątnej 4,3 cala. Zastosowanie znalazły tutaj też magnetyczne przełączniki z regulowanym punktem aktywacji, a całość możemy rozszerzyć o doczepiany moduł KP7 (sprzedawany osobno). I choć KB7 zadebiutowała w maju, to dość trudną ją dziś znaleźć w polskich sklepach...

Konstrukcja i ergonomia

W zestawie otrzymujemy pleciony kabel USB-C o długości 1,8 m, przejściówkę na dwa złącza USB-A, silikonową podpórkę pod nadgarstki, ściągacz do keycapów oraz cztery teksturowane nakładki na klawisze WASD. Moduł KP7 trzeba.

Górną płytę wykonano ze szczotkowanego, anodowanego aluminium w ciemnoszarym kolorze. W lewym górnym rogu mamy miedziany akcent, a tuż obok niego plastikową listwę z pokrętłem, przyciskami sterującymi odtwarzaniem oraz czterema trójkątnymi guziczkami funkcyjnymi (game mode, przełączanie profilu, wł/wył mikrofonu i wł/wył podświetlenia)…

Turtle Beach aterriza en las estanterías españolas con el teclado Vulcan II XP, una revisión directa de su diseño de perfil bajo que rompe la barrera del formato propietario al abrazar por primera vez el interruptor mecánico intercambiable en caliente de tres y cinco pines.

La estructura externa mantiene la placa superior de aluminio cepillado junto a una arquitectura de teclas flotantes. Esta disposición no solo aporta solidez al chasis, sino que maximiza el impacto visual de la iluminación RGB por tecla AIMO, totalmente integrada con el ecosistema de iluminación dinámica de Windows 11.

La principal novedad técnica del periférico radica en la placa de circuito impreso. El dispositivo cuenta con conectores intercambiables en caliente compatibles con interruptores de 3 y 5 pines. A Modular Ecosystem That Blends Competitive Gaming and Content Creation

This review arrives later than originally planned. Between game coverage, livestreams, and editorial responsibilities, I wanted to spend meaningful time with Turtle Beach’s new Command Series KB7 and KP7 before reaching a verdict. Some peripherals reveal everything within a few days. Others benefit from extended use. The KB7 and KP7 fall into the latter category. The moment Turtle Beach announced the Command Series, it immediately caught my attention. I’ve long appreciated the company’s willingness to experiment with new ideas rather than simply chasing trends. In a category crowded with increasingly similar gaming keyboards, the KB7 stood out from the start.

A Hall Effect keyboard featuring a built-in touchscreen is ambitious enough on its own. Pairing it with the modular KP7 keypad creates a hardware ecosystem unlike anything else currently available in the gaming peripheral space.

After several weeks of use across productivity work, content creation, Diablo IV, Marathon, and everyday desktop tasks, Turtle Beach’s vision becomes much clearer.
