La popular cadena de tiendas de juguetes, ropa y productos para bebés Toys "R" Us abrirá 120 nuevas tiendas independientes en Estados Unidos antes de que llegue la Navidad, en su mayor expansión física desde hace casi una década.
Con esta incorporación, el total de establecimientos independientes de la marca en el país pasará de 40 a 160 tiendas operativas para la temporada navideña, confirmó la empresa en un comunicado.
La expansión se realiza en asociación con Go! Retail Group y se suma a la presencia que la cadena ya mantiene en numerosas tiendas Macy's a nivel nacional y en instalaciones de la Navy Exchange, precisó la compañía.
En Florida, el avance es concreto: la cadena abrió en agosto un espacio dentro del Aeropuerto Internacional de Orlando (MCO), en alianza con WHSmith North America, y tiene prevista una segunda ubicación en ese mismo aeropuerto para el verano de 2027.
«Estas nuevas ubicaciones llevan a Toys"R"Us a uno de los mercados de viajes familiares más importantes del país, ofreciendo a los viajeros que se dirigen a Orlando y a la región metropolitana del centro de Florida otra forma de disfrutar de la marca durante su viaje», detalla el anuncio oficial.
