Topeak JoeBlow Booster: What I love; what bugs me
Topeak's JoeBlow Booster makes it easy to set up tubeless tires without a compressor. But there's one thing about it that bugs me.
My garage is filled with wheels: road, gravel, mountain bike. And increasingly, they need to be set up tubeless, which means I have to bust out the trusty pancake compressor — or, as has become my habit over the course of the last two years, the JoeBlow Booster from Topeak. This pump has simplified setting up tubeless tires for me since I often have to lug the compressor back and forth from my garage to the basement, where I’m mired in endless home- renovation projects.

First off, yes, this is just a floor pump. But the JoeBlow Booster has a large chamber that you can “charge” by pumping it up to pressure. The Topeak Taillux 100 USB is a bright rear light with decent run time considering its low weight and price.
You move through the four brightness modes by pressing a button at the end of the light, which occasionally proved overly sensitive.

The Topeak Taillux 100 USB has a claimed maximum output of 100 lumens. This is on par with the best rear bike lights for day and night time use in its price category.
It holds nine LEDs in its rectangular polymer housing. The three brightest bulbs run vertically through the centre. Three less powerful LEDs sit on each side.
Thanks to this structure, Topeak says the Taillux 100 USB has 220 degrees of visibility.

Other than pump efficiency, which I’ll get on to in a minute, the readability of a track pump gauge has to be one of the most important deciding factors when buying a pump. Maximum pressure output is 160psi, and aside from the first jump up to 20psi, the gauge is marked in distinct increments of five.
Another update for this iteration of the JoeBlow is in what Topeak calls the TwinHead DX pump head. This refers to the double-sided head sporting both Presta and Schrader valve connections on either end. The locking lever set into the middle of the pump twists from side to side, rather than directly up.
