Brighton kids’ brand joins UK’s SmallBiz100 for 2025

Toby Tiger made the esteemed list for 2025, assembled by the Small Business Saturday campaign

The family-run company founded in 1998 by Zoe Mellor was selected from a nationwide search as part of this year's SmallBiz100 line-up.

The list celebrates the most innovative and admired small enterprises across the country, leading up to Small Business Saturday on December 6.

The Small Business Saturday campaign has been running in the UK for over a decade and is the nation's most successful small business campaign.

It lauds small firms and encourages the general public to support them.

Brighton: Toby Tiger named in Small Business Saturday list

Toby Tiger, on Gardner Street in Brighton, has been featured in the Small Business Saturday list of top 100 inspiring small businesses in the UK

Each year, the Small Business Saturday campaign highlights some of the UK’s best small businesses and encourages the public to shop with local independents.

Each day, the campaign will spotlight one of the hundred businesses ahead of their annual event on December 6.

Toby Tiger opened their first store in Brighton in 1999, before moving to their current premises in Gardener Street in 2002.

The brand sells a range of colourful childrenswear, specialising in fun appliques and timeless designs.

It also prides itself on the company’s timeless quality and its ethical practices.
