創辦人不叫 Ted Baker

Ted Baker announced the move on Tuesday morning, recommending that shareholders vote in favour of the offer, which is backed by Ted Baker directors and its largest shareholders.
Under the agreement, Ted Baker will become a privately-owned company and will be separated into an intellectual property holding company controlled by ABG as well as one or more operating companies which would manage the physical retail, ecommerce and wholesale operations of the Ted Baker business.
ABG stated that it “intends to explore options to transfer full or partial ownership and control of some or all of such operating companies to partners with established operating businesses”.
Earlier this year, Ted Baker received a number of revised non-binding proposals for the takeover and rejected unsolicited offers from Sycamore, saying it “significantly undervalued Ted Baker”.
Sycamore had proposed 130p/share (totalling £250m) and 137.5p/share (totalling £253.8m), respectively – between £39m and £42.8m more than ABG’s offer.
It is understood that ABG pulled out of the race to buy Ted Baker in June.
