Daniella Helayel, the founder and creative director of Issa London, a favourite of the Duchess of Cambridge, has now left the label after a 'mutual agreement'.
Helayel founded the label in 2006, but is now set to be replaced by a new designer, according to WWD reports.
The super-lush brand does show at huge events including London Fashion week, and counts Cara Delevingne as one of its models, but it was Kate Middleton who really put it on the radar, when she wore that famous royal blue wrap dress for her engagement announcement to Prince William.

Two years ago Camilla Al Fayed (Harrods boss Mohamed Al Fayed's daughter) took a 51 per cent stake in a new company, with the intention to develop the Issa brand globally.

Japan was a natural choice for the label, following the success of a pop-up shop hosted in department store Mitsukoshi, Ginza, last year. Fans of the brand include the Duchess of Cambridge, Eva Mendes and Madonna.
"The response was overwhelming and we knew our formula was the right one for Japan," added Al Fayed. "What makes Issa popular in Japan is a love of our quirky prints, our colour palette and elegant silhouettes. We work closely with our partners to design collections that are on brand for Issa, but culturally aligned to the Japanese consumer."
Al Fayed has plans to open a flagship store in Sao Paolo at the end of the year, in celebration of the label's Brazilian heritage. The retail space will be housed in the…
