FRENCH SOLE is celebrating its 21st birthday by re-releasing 21 of its original ballet flat designs and selling them at 1989 prices - the year the label was first founded.
"I wanted to celebrate this milestone in our business by bringing back some of the classic styles which are still as popular today as they were 21 years ago," says Jane Winkworth, the label's founder. "The styles I have chosen have become timeless favourites with our customers".
From September 21 - 30, each of the French Sole's standalone stores will sell 21 key styles in four different sizes, featuring the Low Cut, India, Simple Plain and Simple Quilt. Priced between £35-40, each design will be available in array of colours including red, black, navy, gold and cream.

"We had a seasonal store at the end of the avenue. It was successful. As far as exposure, this was best for us," said Fumet Gurbuz, who will run the Greenwich store and hopes to open it in the second week of October. "A lot of the shoes we carry suit the fashion standards of women in Greenwich."
Plans call for additional stores in Fairfield County within the next two years and possible expansion beyond Connecticut.
