AMSTERDAM – Het aantal reizigers op de rechtstreekse Eurostar-verbinding tussen Nederland en Disneyland Paris is met 11 procent gestegen ten opzichte van dezelfde periode vorig jaar. De groei is gemeten sinds de opening van Disney Adventure World op 29 maart 2026 en volgt op een uitbreiding van de capaciteit op de route. Dat meldt Eurostar maandag.
De hogesnelheidstrein rijdt rechtstreeks vanuit Amsterdam, Schiphol en Rotterdam naar station Marne-la-Vallée–Chessy, dat direct bij de ingang van Disneyland Paris ligt. De reistijd vanaf Amsterdam bedraagt ongeveer 3 uur en 40 minuten.
Volgens Eurostar is ook het aantal boekingen door gezinnen toegenomen. Dat ligt 10 procent hoger dan in dezelfde periode vorig jaar.
De rechtstreekse trein naar Disneyland Paris rijdt van vrijdag tot en met zondag. Kinderen jonger dan vier jaar mogen gratis meereizen wanneer zij op schoot zitten bij een begeleidende volwassene.
Aan boord zijn onder meer gratis wifi, een café en een verschoontafel beschikbaar. Kinderwagens mogen gratis mee. Voor bagage geldt geen gewichtslimiet en reizigers mogen vloeistoffen zonder beperkingen meenemen.

A two-storey cocktail bar will be open to everyone on board, not just those in premium classes. And at those speeds, ‘shaken not stirred’ might just take care of itself.

‘The two-storey bar will be a star attraction of the bespoke train design,’ a Eurostar spokesperson said. ‘We want to create something really special for customers, with a different ambience and vibe upstairs and downstairs, making the most of the double-decker views.’ Staff will apparently host it much like the cocktail bars already found in Eurostar’s exclusive premier lounges, just this time, everyone gets to join in.
The drinks menu hasn’t been revealed for the new bar yet, but if it does end up drawing on the existing premier lounge cocktail list at St Pancras, that’s promising news. There are currently house-designed signatures like the Lavender Dusk and the Angelique, created by culinary director Raymond Blanc OBE, alongside cocktails made with Eurostar’s own…
