Say what you want, but there's something refreshing about a shoe like the Mute making a return in 2025. It's just a classic looking skate shoe. It's clean. Built to destroy. No bells, no whistles—just a solid upper, durable construction, and that classic Emerica vibe we all love and respect.
It's exactly what you expect to see on the shoe wall of your favorite skateshop, if you ask me.

Emerica is keeping things fresh for Spring with a new lineup of 'Low Vulc' colorways, including the Tan/Blue/Green bangers you see below. Low-profile, proper board feel, signature Emerica style—the Low Vulc continues to be a go-to for skaters who want a clean, functional shoe that can be put through the ringer! Take a look:

And although I haven't skated a pair of these personally, I can't deny the fact that these do certainly hold true to Emerica's design heritage.
Emerica is one of the few "skate shoe" brands left these days, or at least one of the brands who continue to put up a fight.
That said, they have gone through plenty of changes over the past year or so—internally, team-wise, and who knows what else—but it's comforting to see dudes like Figgy, Dickson, Leo and Spanky still skating them proudly.
