Junction 32
Junction 32, Yorkshire’s leading outlet shopping destination, is delighted to announce Double TWO, the British Wakefield-born heritage brand, is returning to the centre this August.
Due to open on August Bank Holiday weekend, the brand, which specialises in men's shirts, ties, formalwear and womenswear, will open a new 1,500 sq ft store located by Starbucks. Alongside the brand’s extensive range of menswear and ladieswear ranges, the store will feature interactive video screens, showcasing new product ranges and exclusive promotions.
Founded in 1940 in Wakefield by entrepreneurs Isaak Donner and Frank Myers, Double Two revolutionised men’s fashion with patented detachable collars and later introduced the world’s first polyester shirt in collaboration. Still family-run, Double TWO now focuses on continuing to evolve with modern collections and new retail locations.
The new store at Junction 32 marks Double TWO’s 8th site in the UK, alongside over 25 concessions across the UK, and sees the brand open a store in the very place the brand was born.
Lee Bromley, Sales and Marketing Director at Double TWO, commented: “We have been steadily enhancing our retail operation over the last five years, so are thrilled to re-open at Junction 32 with our new store…

The plan includes creating 15 new parking spaces, repainting the outside of the shop building and new signage. If approved, the new open plan shop will include three changing rooms.
The application also says: “It is considered that these alterations would have no detrimental impact on the character and appearance of the building. The proposed development would utilise the existing vehicle access for Double Two. The level of vehicles movements associated with the factory shop would be minimal and would have no…
