Compressport targets endurance runners with latest range of technical socks

Respected Swiss running gear brand Compressport (the “socks with the dots”) has updated its technical running socks range to offer even more comfort and enhanced performance to people who regularly punish their feet with endurance feats.

The three news are upgrades to existing favorites, with one pair aimed at marathon runners, another and trail runners and the third pair at those seeking some compression. They look really good too (we really like the non-matching hues on some of the colorways, but that may be a matter of taste).

Becoming An Effective Athlete With Compressport Calf Sleeves

First Impression

When I received my flashy pair of red R2s I was delighted at how the vibrant red complemented my running shoes! Prior to receiving my R2s, the friendly staff at Runner’s Gait assisted me in getting the circumference of my calves measured. This ensures a perfect fit and optimal compression effects to enhance better performance. Also, I like how I can roll both my R2s into a small pouch, making it a travel-ready accessory too!

Compressport Ultrun 140G Pack – Race Vest

Just when you thought a running hydration vest couldn’t progress any further in terms of design and fit, Compressport tip the apple cart over and come up with the ULTRUN 140G PACK which is available in a male and female versions. On first impressions, this pack is considerably light, good looking (red and black always works) and most definitely makes you look twice due to some very unique design features. The pack comes in one size and although Compressport say the pack will expand to many different sized people, I do wonder how big? I tried the vest on over a jacket and then a down/ padded jacket and it still fit with comfort. Ultimately, I think if you have a big chest, it may well be a good idea to try on in store before purchasing.

In total, the pack has 10 pockets that vary in size which are all made from expandable and stretchy mesh, The benefits of this are easy to see, if you are being minimalist, the pack remains small, lightweight and you have no excess material flapping around. If you…
