Slovenia almost has the shortest coast of all European countries. Slovenia’s coast is only about 47 km long. That makes it the second smallest in Europe: only the coast of Bosnia and Herzegovina is shorter, at 30 km. Behind Slovenia is the tiny island of Malta, which has a 136 km coastline. But with its small coast, Slovenia even has one of the smallest coasts in the world. But, as some may say, at least it has a coast.
