Circulon puts pans through their paces
Cookware brand Circulon has revealed how it puts its pans to the test, to ensure they provide ‘a lifetime of cooking for home chefs’.
Circulon said: ‘It can be easy to make claims about the performance of cookware in the kitchen and we believe it’s time for cookware brands to stand up and be counted.’
In a collection of short films, Circulon showcases the thousands of times that its pans are tested and how they compare against competitors’ products.
Circulon’s pans go through an intense thermal performance test, which demonstrates how they heat up to 20% faster than other brands with no ‘hot spots’. The pans’ non-stick performance is also put on trial with sticky foods and a fried egg test which, Circulon says, demonstrates that they are ’15 times more durable and last 20 times longer than the closest competitor when it comes to wear and tear’.
