Antler, a Singapore-based global early-stage venture capital firm, has announced a trio of significant appointments – Shao-Ning Huang and Lorenzo Peracchione as Venture Partners, and Tudor Coman as Investment Director.
Antler said in a statement on Thursday that these appointments are a testament to Antler’s dedication to building a global community of founders, investors, and operators, further solidifying its position in the Southeast Asia region.
At present, the firm has invested in more than 900 companies across 30 cities worldwide and has an accumulated portfolio value of more than $4 billion.
According to the statement, these senior-level appointments underscores Antler’s commitment to backing founders from day zero, serving as both the earliest investor and long-term capital partner for early-stage startups.
Huang brings over two decades of expertise to Antler. As Chief Angel and Partner at AngelCentral, she has spearheaded a thriving community that fuels startup growth through strategic investments and mentorship.
Her entrepreneurial journey began with the founding of JobsCentral, a startup she established as a fresh graduate in 2000.
Under her leadership, JobsCentral evolved into a major player in the online recruitment industry, ultimately leading to a successful acquisition by CareerBuilder in 2011.

Antler, the Singapore-based early-stage venture capital firm, has invested another $2 million in 15 startups across Singapore and Indonesia.
As a global investor, Antler said in a statement on Thursday that it has invested in over 900 startups, making them the most active investor globally and in Southeast Asia.
Since their launch in 2018, Antler has been expanding their global network rapidly to 30 cities, including Jakarta, Ho Chi Minh and most recently Kuala Lumpur in this region.
Antler said the firm is on a mission to back founders from day zero by providing unique access to co-founder matching, business validation, and pre-seed capital.
Besides being the earliest backer for startups, Antler is also a long-term capital partner that provides expansion support and scale-up funding to breakout companies from Series A onwards.
More than 150 founders from various industries and domains participated in a ten-week residency, during which the recently backed startups were formed and funded.
Founders of these startups successfully developed and validated their business ideas with the support and
expertise of Antler to secure pre-seed funding of $125,000 for each company.
