Dairy Women's Network (DWN) is welcoming AgriHealth as a new partner.
The New Zealand-owned animal health company, dedicated to supporting the veterinary profession and farming community, joins DWN to help empower farmers through education and connection.
Through the partnership, AgriHealth will deliver a series of workshops and webinars for DWN members, focusing on animal health topics, including mastitis, on-farm diagnostics, reproduction to herd health for cows & calves and productivity through on-farm efficiencies, supported by access to practical resources.
DWN chief executive Jules Benton says the partnership will strengthen the organisation's ability to support members with reliable animal health information, at a time when making good decisions on farm has never been more important.
“Animal health is a critical part of successful and sustainable dairy farming, and AgriHealth’s veterinary expertise will add real value to our members that can be applied immediately on farm," Benton says.
Meanwhile, Lyndsay Lawrence, head of marketing and technical at AgriHealth, says the two organisations' shared values of collaboration, growing knowledge, and enhancing farming businesses made partnering with DWN an easy decision.

Monaghan-based agri-business Agrihealth has acquired the business of Mackey Equestrian with effect from September 1, 2018.
Agrihealth, which specialises in the distribution of animal health, veterinary and equipment products in Ireland and the UK for over 50 years, announced the acquisition of the Wicklow-based business on Friday (August 31).
Mackey Equestrian provides a range of equestrian products that includes: riding wear; riding hats; footwear; rugs; leatherwork; grooming equipment; health care; gifts; and stable equipment.
Mackey Equestrian stocks a number of brands including: Mackey; Equi-Sentials; Carr and Day and Martin; Charles Owen; SSG Gloves; Racesafe; and Stubbs, among others.
Sean Guinan, managing director of Agrihealth, noted: “This is a strategic development for Agrihealth and it strengthens and complements our existing portfolio of products and our footprint in the equestrian space in Ireland, the UK and beyond.”
The integration will be happening over the next few months but for the moment the business will be conducted as normal from Mackey Equestrian.
