The Conference Round of the 2022 NFL Playoff Race is set to take place this Sunday, with the chase for the Super Bowl Lombardi Trophy now down to just four teams. And in honor of these highly anticipated games, Madden 23 Ultimate Team (MUT) completed its third and final Playoffs Program reveal, tying up one memorable postseason ride that provided fans with a variety of top players to add for their MUT lineups.
The Playoffs Program Part 3 reveal took place today but was completed in two segments. The first part, which revealed just the new Limited Edition (LTD) players, took place on Good Morning Madden at 10:30AM ET / 3:30PM GMT. While the second part, which revealed the rest of the Playoffs Part 3 set, transpired at 6PM ET / 11PM GMT on MUT’s Twitter page. With the reveals happening today, the actual Playoffs Part 3 in-game drop won’t take place until tomorrow, January 26th (Targeted for 10:45AM ET).

Just in time for the week 17 Thursday Night Football game featuring the Dallas Cowboys vs. Tennessee Titans, the official Madden NFL 23 roster update for week 17 is available now.
These weekly roster updates include changes to player ratings, based off of previous week results, updated depth charts and injuries for all 32 teams. As always, player likeness updates only arrive in title updates, not roster updates.
We’ve listed some of the changes below, but you can check out all of the changes in the latest roster update here.
The team did release their promised week 10 Play Now Live roster update, but we won’t see another one until Wild Card Weekend and the Super Bowl. Interestingly enough the splash page still states we can play real NFL matchups every week of the season.

For those of you who were missing the weekly AKA Program drops every Monday in Madden 23, the creative nickname edition has made a return in Season 3, only this time, it comes baring a new name and containing a much better set of new players.

The original AKA Program began in Madden 23 on September 19th, 2022, and ran until November 30th, 2022. Fast forward to the new year, and the AKA Program is back as the New Class, revealing its first eight players on Sunday, January 15th, 2023 before releasing them in-game the next day, January 16th, at 11:10AM ET / 4:10PM GMT.
