Our March issue is a collection of off-the-A1 detours, happy accidents, deeply personal accounts, and hidden gems you won't find anywhere else, culled from the editors, contributors, expats, designers, and friends we trust the most. Our hope is to arm you with just enough found-only-here juicy tidbits to allow you to get lost and find your own. —Pilar Guzmán
London Architects Groups are your chance to get involved with the RIBA at a local level.
London has perhaps the highest concentration of design talent found anywhere in the world. The RIBA recognises this by supporting five Architect Groups based in regions of the city. These groups and their exciting activities are open to all, regardless of your location, and provide a platform for architects to reach out to likeminded people along with a support network of group members to collaborate with.
RIBA Members are also eligible to join a group committee. You might want to join if you have a great idea for an event or initiative, want to address a professional problem or wish to create new social opportunities for construction professionals. Get involved today.
Mentoring is an arrangement in which an experienced individual (Mentor) offers ongoing support and guidance to a less experienced individual (Mentee) to help manage their learning and career development.
Mentees
Join our scheme in order to develop themselves, better meet work challenges, develop strengths and competencies, learn from example and mistakes and gain knowledge and more experience.
Mentors
Benefit from our scheme by gaining satisfaction from nurturing and enabling an individual to develop, helping to unleash untapped potential, being instrumental in career transition and/or transformation and developing their own CPD.
CIPD London Member to Member Mentoring scheme operates on cohort-basis - there are 3 cohorts per year starting every January, April and October.
We are currently over-subscribed for our 2023 London cohorts, so we are not accepting any further applications at this time.
We hope to have an update on this in the New Year and will look forward to welcoming new mentee applications after this.
We are, however, still taking applications for our Member-to-Member mentoring scheme as a Mentor.
Please, complete the below form if you you are interested in applying for the Mentor role:
